About The Position

Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Material Handler in our Norfolk Virginia location who will be a key support in performing warehouse operations in Norfolk Virginia.

Requirements

Must be High School graduate
Must have Working knowledge and understanding of DCMA standards for government property management
Must be Familiar with OSHA standards for safety and hazards
Must have At least 3-years of experience in warehouse operations
Must be Licensed order picker and forklift operator

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with military organizations, protocols, procedures, and processes, and working knowledge of addressing issues/concerns using the chain-of-command is preferred.
Air Force experience preferred

Responsibilities

Accepts and signs for deliveries from freight carriers for inbound shipments.
Loads and unloads delivery trucks from inbound and outbound freight carriers.
Stocks equipment within the Depot warehouse utilizing pallet jacks, order pickers, forklifts, etc
Ensures all equipment is stocked and stored in appropriate locations in the Warehouse.
Processes inbound and outbound Out to Vendors (OTV) repair request.
Provides shipment tracking details to the UNITS and PMO Office.
Licensed order picker and forklift operator.
Manages DRMO disposition process.
Performs Physical Inventory and Cycle Count Audits.
Prepares large orders for Shipping
Updates the ticketing system with pertinent information for CDRL reporting.
Assist with PMI testing.
Augments the Shipping and Receiving Clerk and Warehouse Specialists for surges or absences.
Knowledgeable and understands DCMA standards for Government property management and storage.
