Hilco Vision is expanding and opening an additional state-of-the-art facility in Fairfield, Ohio! We are currently searching for an experienced Material Handler to join the team! The Material Handler is responsible for conducting put-aways, transferring shipments to their designated areas, and overall material replenishment for the department. The hours for this role are 10:30am - 7:00pm If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!

Requirements

Safety is your number one priority (its ours, too!); you carefully adhere to all organizational safety practices including following appropriate procedures, as well as the proper wearing of required PPE in designated areas
Committed to quality, you pay excellent attention to detail and processes in order to reach a common goal of producing a great product for all customers
You are a self-starter; eager to learn and grow
You are able to work both on your own and within a team environment; understanding that the customer need is of the utmost importance
You have an understanding of the basic operations of a distribution center
You are able to read inventory reports and conduct basic math calculations
Comfortable with using a ladder, heights of 10’ are not a problem for you
You are capable of lifting boxes that weigh up to 30lbs

Responsibilities

Review the inventory for packaging supplies and reorder as necessary. Materials include, but are not limited to ice packs, corrugated boxes, packing paper, box tape etc.
Replenish shipping stations, and pick carts with materials pickers and shippers use throughout the day
Replenish totes throughout the warehouse as needed
Prep and wrap pallets using automated pallet wrap and pallet jacks
Transfer packages from our shippers to designated consolidation areas
Organize inventory locations based on product demand, quantity and size

Incentive Plan: Attendance- Employee must have worked 85% (148 hours) of the working days in a given month for the home department earning the incentive.
Productivity - Must have efficiency more than 85% minimum for the month.
Violations - If an employee receives a write up due to a policy violation or quality issue, they will not be eligible for the incentive for that month.
Employment- Must be a full time Hilco employee for more than 30 days. The employee must be actively employed on the date of the incentive payout to receive it
