About The Position

Summary/Objective: The Material Handler is responsible for accurate and efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials throughout the facility. This role involves operating various types of equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and trucks. The Material Handler ensures that inventory levels are maintained, orders are fulfilled correctly, and materials are handled safely and securely.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Candidates must have substantial experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or production environment

Responsibilities

• Learn and demonstrate proficiency in all functions of 1 zone on the production line.
• Learn and demonstrate proficiency in completion of all production documentation.
• Demonstrate a positive work ethic and attitude. To include the ability to work as a team.
• Compliance with company attendance policy.
• Demonstrate the ability to create and maintain a safe working environment.
• Demonstrate the ability to maintain required performance metrics.
• Demonstrate proficiency in 6S process and procedure.
• Provide training, support and guidance as needed to ensure the employee has the best opportunity for success.
