Material Handler in Plastic Injection Molding
About The Position
REO Plastics, Inc. is a progressive, ISO certified Custom Injection Molding Company that has been in business for 60 years serving several markets in the Manufacturing Industry. We are currently looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, hard-working individual to join our growing Company as a Material Handler. We are Currently Offering a $1500 Hiring Bonus Position Summary: The Material Handler will provide a constant flow of raw material to injection presses in the Production area and any auxiliary equipment to achieve maximum productivity.
Requirements
- Attention to Detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Must have an aptitude for basic math.
- Ability to read and understand English.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to take direction from Supervisors/Manager
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to sit, walk, or stand for eight hours.
Responsibilities
- Mix resin as directed.
- Place grinder at each press.
- Have material and auxiliary equipment properly tagged for use.
- Pull and clean hoppers and grinders at job's completion.
- Monitor dryers as needed.
- Must be able to set-up and troubleshoot all material auxiliary equipment.
- Must understand 5-S and Lean Manufacturing concept.
- Keep work areas clean and safe.
- Use 5-S suggestion form for set-up, process, or other improvements.
- Must have knowledge of plastic product material handling.
- Must be able to drive a forklift.
