About The Position

The Material Handler position reports to the Inventory & Warehouse Supervisor performs inventory and warehouse functions, as well as material movement activities. Individual is responsible for proper and timely receiving of material shipments, inspection of materials received and timely movement of materials betweem the warehouse and production areas. Good organizational skills and a safety minded approach to work duties is a must. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Familiary with computer hardware and software, including MS Office (Excel, Word), MS Project, and Adobe
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and their functionality
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physically demanding tasks, including repetitive motions and heavy lifting
  • Familiarity with tools like pallet jacks and lift trucks; ability to climb and operate warehouse equipment
  • Flexible scheduling availability
  • Experience working with diverse teams and departments
  • Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Factory environment with a large range in temperature changes
  • Standing up to 12 hours daily
  • Walking up to 12 hours daily
  • Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
  • Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
  • Lifting weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Regularly Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily

  • Prior experiance in warehouse/supply chain operations a plus but not required
  • Certification to operate light-duty forklifts and equipment a plus (e.g., Lull, Man-Lift).
