About The Position

This is a mission-critical role that executes inventory management tasks to ensure organization, accuracy tracking, sufficient stock levels, and compliance. This role involves receiving, putting away, maintaining, and distribution of inventory, as well as other tasks such as record keeping, addressing discrepancies, and applying inventory management best practices, such as proper inventory rotation (FIFO, LIFO, etc.). Responsibilities: Responsible for efficient and accurate receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming goods and materials. This role ensures that all received items meet quality standards and are properly recorded in the inventory system. The Receiving Person plays a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the overall operations of the Supply Chain department. Oversee the receipt and shipment of materials, ensuring compliance with logistics procedures. Inspect incoming shipments to verify the quantity and condition of goods Received items match the purchase orders and shipping documents Document any discrepancies or damages and report them to the Key Stakeholders Collaborate with the quality control team to resolve any issues. Accurately record all received items in the inventory system Maintaining organized and accessible inventory storage Communicate effectively with the warehouse team to ensure smooth operations Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy, resolving discrepancies to maintain reliable data. Meets productivity work standards while demonstrating competency in job skills and knowledge by completing scheduled work in allotted timeframe Perform additional responsibilities as required to support overall logistics operations

Requirements

  • B.S./B.A with 0 years of experience or High School Diploma with 4 years of experience
  • ERP knowledge
  • Forklift certified
  • FIFO experience
