About The Position

Receive and unload products from trucks in a safe manner. Inspect incoming and outgoing materials and notifying appropriate staff of potential quality issues or shortages. Move shipments to appropriate department or storage area in a safe manner. Put away stock according to location on stock ticket. Pick products to fill customer order – verifying location and quantity. Pack and verify finished product in boxes for shipping. Determining shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedule. Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment. Oversee the daily department activities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 - 2 years of material processing experience
  • 1 - 2 years of forklift experience
  • 1 - 2 years of manufacturing experience
  • The ability to predictably and regularly attend work and to be punctual
  • The ability to work autonomously with little supervision
  • The ability to follow direction or instruction
  • The ability to read and understand documents and drawings
  • The ability to work cooperatively with others
  • The ability to deal professionally with customers and/or coworkers
  • The ability to perform several tasks at once
  • The ability to use a computer to communicate, create, and access information
  • The ability to lift 40 lbs.
  • The ability to stand/bend/stretch, etc.
