About The Position

The Material Handler plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our non-durable goods manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for the safe and effective movement of materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and shipped to meet customer demands. The Material Handler will also be tasked with maintaining inventory accuracy and organization, which is vital for streamlining production processes. By utilizing various material handling equipment, the individual will contribute to minimizing downtime and enhancing overall productivity. Ultimately, the success of this role directly impacts our ability to deliver high-quality products to our customers in a timely manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in material handling or warehouse operations.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
• Experience with order picking and shipping/receiving processes.
• Ability to work overtime as needed to meet production demands.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks to move products within the warehouse.
• Accurately pick and pack orders based on shipping requirements and ensure timely dispatch.
• Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and update inventory records in the warehouse management system.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and assist in assembly line operations as needed.
