About The Position

Are you an organized problem-solver who enjoys staying active? Avery Dennison is looking for a Material Handler to join our team. You will serve as the "circulatory system" of our facility, ensuring raw materials and finished goods move seamlessly through our warehouse to meet customer needs.
Shift: 3rd Shift, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Sunday – Thursday).

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (or 3+ years of manufacturing experience).
• Resilience & Focus: You thrive in fast-paced environments and maintain high quality even when priorities shift.
• Technical Aptitude: Comfort using computer applications (like MFGPro) for data entry and tracking.
• Safety Mindset: A commitment to following SOPs and keeping yourself and your teammates safe.
• Adaptability: A "Team Before Self" attitude with a willingness to cross-train and support other departments.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and hand trucks to move materials between Receiving, Manufacturing, and Shipping.
• Verify shipments against digital records and resolve stock discrepancies in our Inventory Management System.
• Partner across departments to ensure timely shipments and assist with equipment maintenance or recycling efforts as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area using 5S standards and identify ways to improve warehouse space and productivity.
