About The Position

We're looking to add a Material Handler to our 2nd shift team at Quanex in Cambridge, Oh. The primary function of the Material Handler is to keep the material stocked for production lines and move the material to designated locations. What's attractive about the Material Handler position? Requirements

  • Demonstrates ability to enter all information into applicable systems (paperwork, computer, and scanner)
  • Meets production standards
  • Can follow written/verbal instructions
  • Demonstrates ability to read and understand job order
  • Knowledge of how to produce and use material identification labels
  • Ability to stack material properly
  • Compliance with all SOX/ISO requirements is also expected and general plant policies and procedures
  • Ability to communicate with production operators, supervisors and other Material handlers
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

Responsibilities

  • Keep the material stocked for production lines
  • Move the material to designated locations

  • Stack material properly
