About The Position

Join the OBE team as a Material Handler, responsible for the safe handling and processing of aluminum extrusions for anodization. This role is crucial for ensuring products meet quality standards and are prepared efficiently for further processing. OBE contributes architectural glass and building products to projects globally, with over 6,500 employees operating more than 80 manufacturing and distribution facilities in five countries.

Requirements

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills under time constraints.
• Effective communication skills with peers and management.
• Willingness to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Flexibility to work 12-hour rotating shifts, with potential overtime.

• Preference for candidates with previous manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely rack and unrack aluminum extrusions in preparation for anodization.
• Maintain regular attendance and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Complete tasks efficiently, prioritizing safety and quality at all times.
• Collaborate with team members and management to ensure a smooth production process.
• Willingness to be trained for tasks in other areas as needed.
