About The Position

Peachtree City Manufacturer seeks ; Material Handler- responsible for organization and providing raw materials and blended materials to all production lines to ensure correct, timely, and adequate supply for continuous line operation. Also must know Line Associate responsibilities to assist the clearing of products from machines, proper document, clearing of rejected products, filling raw material bins, reject product gaylords, product refeed, and cleaning of manufacturing areas. SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain an organized area of Resin Concentrates, Inventory, and equipment. Blend Color Concentrates and resins to proper formulas per product instructions. Supply and maintain supply of raw materials to all Injection Molding machines to maintain continuous production. Clear products from machines and assign appropriate Kanban tags and document on Product Sheets. Fill stockers with empty tote boxes, liners, and/or bags. Fill raw material bins, document usage, clean areas. Check to be sure bowl-feeders, stockers and grinders are working properly. Disposal of rejected products, and emptying trash containers. Clean and organize manufacturing floor and back warehouse areas. Comply with all OSHA, Fire Safety, EPA and other regulatory guidelines and rules. Comply with all Company Operations, Personnel, Safety and Environmental policies. Comply with ISO 9001-2008 / ISO 14001-2004 Quality and Environmental Management Systems Procedures and Work Instructions Comply with Procedures and Instructions to address our Significant and other Environmental Aspects Comply with MEI Green Procurement and Chemical Substance Guidelines, Procedures, and Instructions. Maintain clean conditions in all associated work areas. Perform any other duties as required by supervisor or Management.

Requirements

  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • The ability to operate a forklift.
  • The ability to read, add, subtract and multiply.

  • Ability to work carefully in a precision tooling and precision product environment.
  • Ability to work Safely and follow Regulatory and Company Policies and Guidelines.
  • Have the desire and ability to provide innovative ideas, provide recommendations, and be flexible.

Nice To Haves

  • A high school equivalency diploma desired but not required.
