About The Position
Material Handler - Monroe, OH Job Responsibilities Read, understand and follow instructions listed on reports/pick sheets Check and add all materials listed on pick sheets Follow QC sampling procedures Report QC deviations Execute all required transactions on terminal software and handheld scanners Pull & return material in approved locations in warehouses Responsible for cycle counting locations Follow ISO9001, GMP and HACCP procedures Responsible for shipping functions, labeling product and checking customer orders prior to shipping to customer trained and Certified on DOT (Ground Shipping), IATA (AIR Shipping), and IMDG (Vessel shipping) Verify and cut seals off trucks Apply seals to truck loads Gather paperwork for shipments Receiving good in and checking in to System Pulling samples for customers Perform blends and transfer Other duties as necessary Certified in OSHA 24HAZWOPER Initial - Contaminated Site Cleanup Training
Requirements
- High School, equivalent or degree in related field preferred
- 3+ years' experience in Shipping, Receiving and Logistics & Transportation
- Bar-code experience
- Forklift (sit down) experience
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills, (Word and Excel)
- Self-motivated & commitment to continuous improvement
- Able to stand, walk, lift, reach and bend throughout 8 hour shift.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities
