About The Position

Description Primary Responsibilities: · Safe Forklift Operation to include loading of materials on trucks · Perform material fulfillment and movement operations for production operations · Support material transfer operations of finished goods to warehouse · Support of incoming and outgoing goods · Ensure that flow of products is consistent, and service is faultless by insuring incoming goods are stored in proper locations. · Receive/Unload product delivery trucks at receiving dock without damage and ensure they are properly stored in their designated locations · Maintain accurate shipping documents and receiving receipts. · Collects information for damaged claims and communicates those damages to Supervisor · Maintain good housekeeping in warehouse so floor is clean at all times · Optimize space by ensuring that everything is in its place · Participate in Accident/Incident Investigation · Report any spills or Hazards to Supervisor · Report any safety issues to Supervisor · Other duties as assigned by management Requirements

Requirements

  • Certified industrial lift truck operator
  • Above average computer competency and math skills
  • Good communicator verbally and in writing
  • Experience in an industrial environment
  • Experience with ERP-knowledge of Infor a plus
  • Experience in a fast-paced Team oriented environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Represent UMS Mfg. in a professional, positive, and enthusiastic manner in all matters
  • Comply with occupational safety regulations
  • Work in shifts and overtime as required.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
