About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for supporting material flow and maintaining inventory accuracy for the Systems, Fibers, and Service departments. This role ensures that materials are properly kitted, moved, counted, and accurately transacted in Microsoft Dynamics Navision to support production schedules and maintain reliable inventory records. The position also assists with unboxing, packaging, and general handling of both raw materials and finished goods, while adhering to cleanroom protocols and safety standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse operations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision is a strong plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication and accountability.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Solid and accurate data entry skills are required
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and work effectively across functional departments
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • General understanding of production practices, BOM's and shipping /receiving a plus
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs and operate basic material handling equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in material handling, inventory control, or warehouse operations; cleanroom experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform material kitting for production orders related to Systems, Fibers, and Service.
  • Move and stage materials between stockrooms, production areas, and shipping/receiving as needed.
  • Conduct inventory and cycle counts to ensure accuracy in Navision.
  • Execute material transactions in Navision, including movements, issues, and receipts.
  • Assist with unboxing, labeling, and packaging of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Support receiving and inspection by organizing materials and maintaining proper identification.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of material storage and stockroom areas.
  • Collaborate with Logistics, Production, and Quality teams to ensure material availability and compliance with handling procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety and quality protocols related to material handling and storage.
