About The Position

We are currently hiring for a First Shift Material Handler position with a well-established industrial air compressor and vacuum systems company in Harrison, Ohio. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous warehouse and forklift experience who is looking for a stable, full-time position with a growing company.

Requirements

• Must pass forklift qualification test, so previous forklift experience required
• Must be able to pass an online safety / warehouse assessment
• Strong communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Demonstrated effective problem solving skills. Able to understand complex issues and provide appropriate, effective solutions.
• High level of attention to detail and drive to complete tasks accurately and completely.
• Must provide clean drug screen and be able to pass a background check
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Reliable attendance and good work ethic

Responsibilities

• Accurately create and submit all required documentation to customers and freight suppliers.
• Schedule and coordinate shipment pick-ups with freight suppliers using vendor portals
• Verify all outgoing shipments, matching purchase order requirements with goods shipped.
• Perform all required electronic transactions to ship.
• Physically handle material for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Perform all required electronic transactions to ship and receive material.
• Stage assembly areas
