About The Position

Material Handlers utilize both stand up lifts and traditional forklifts to move product throughout the plant and shipping/receiving department.

Requirements

• Must be willing to work mandatory overtime, weekends and different shifts as needed.
• 2 or more years of experience on stand up lifts
• 2 or more years of experience on traditional forklifts
• 2nd Shift is currently from 2pm to 10pm.
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Prior experience in warehouse, staging, or production support.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, staging lists, and inventory documentation.
• Forklift certification and experience
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization skills.
• Ability to lift - up to 50 lbs. and work in varying environmental conditions (cold, hot, dry, or humid).
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Stage and deliver free stock materials (ingredients, packaging, and supplies) to designated production lines as required.
• Accurately verify materials against work orders, batch tickets, or staging lists to ensure correct quantities and types are provided.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of free stock staging areas.
• Communicate with production operators, warehouse, and supervisors to anticipate material needs and prevent downtime.
• Record and track material movements in inventory or ERP systems.
• Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors of shortages, discrepancies, or quality concerns.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment.
• Follow all GMPs, food safety protocols, and workplace safety standards.
• Assist in periodic inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
• Support cross-functional warehouse or production tasks as directed.
