Position Summary: The Material Handler plays a key role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations, responsible for the accurate movement, storage, and inventory of goods.
Requirements
- Previous forklift experience preferred.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
- Ability to work overtime as needed (some months may require 10 or 12-hour shifts)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with clamp truck and/or turret truck is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload materials from trailers
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, clamp trucks, and turret trucks.
- Deliver materials accurately and efficiently to the production floor.
- Load finished mail using the mail-loading system.
- Inventory material within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Follow management system procedures, 5S, and Standard Work instructions.
