Material Handler

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Material Handler to join our team on a part-time basis. This position is primarily responsible for performing various material job functions within our warehouse environment. The Material Handler will work closely with our logistics team to ensure that customer orders are filled accurately and efficiently. The role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The working hours for this position are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, providing a consistent schedule for our part-time employees. The Material Handler will be tasked with loading and unloading trucks, breaking down and sorting inbound freight, and stocking inventory. Additionally, the individual will perform cycle counts, pack orders, and receive and verify inbound goods. Quality control is a critical aspect of this role, as the Material Handler will be responsible for performing quality checks on customer orders to ensure accuracy and satisfaction. The position may also involve processing customer and vendor returns, preparing bills of lading, and shipping vendor returns as needed. To succeed in this role, candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, along with relevant experience or training in a warehouse setting. The ability to lift or move up to 70 lbs is essential, and candidates must be willing to learn to operate a forklift.
