The Material Handler position is a contract role based in San Diego, CA, with a duration of 12 months. The job requires working the first shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour, with compensation based on experience and qualifications. There is a possibility of extension beyond the initial duration if the temp employee performs well, and conversion to a full-time employee is also possible depending on performance and need. Overtime is common, with up to 1 hour of overtime offered per day for all employees. While the use of PIT equipment (forklifts or pallet jacks) is not required for hiring, new employees will undergo Client PIT training and will be expected to use the equipment.
