We have immediate openings in assembly in our manufacturing facility and are looking for hard working, dependable individuals to join our team.

  • Safely and efficiently move raw and/or finished products throughout the plant.
  • Assure that all appropriate documentation associated with movement of product/materials is complete and accurate.
  • Perform tasks including production work given by Plant Manager, Material Handling Supervisor, and/or Manufacturing Supervisors.
  • Focus on the safety and productivity of your team and the quality of the products you manufacture.
  • Help create an environment where your team can learn and thrive.
  • Work from computer generated work list, moves product and materials throughout the plant.
  • Ensure safe material handling and operation of forklift.
  • Transport raw and other materials to machine operators, and in-process material to other departments as needed.
  • Assist in unloading raw materials received from vendors and in loading finished product into semi-trailers for transport to customers as needed.
  • Enter receipts into the ERP system.
  • Cycle counts inventory on a regular basis and validates accuracy on the ERP system.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards.
  • Keep aisles clean and ensure parts are in appropriate place in racks.
  • Ensure pallets are stored in a safe and orderly manner.
  • Dispose of scrap in appropriate bins and in a safe manner.
  • Perform and/or secure assistance in preventive maintenance and repair of forklifts.
  • Assist in the development of better and more efficient systems for material handling.
  • Hot strips parts as required.
  • Work within a team environment.
  • Identify and transport requested materials to and from various locations including machines, loading docks, trucks, and storage areas.
  • Obtain production schedule and/or shipping orders and then identify, verify, and transport requested raw materials, equipment, or processing materials accordingly.
  • Apply understanding of machine loading capacity and loading schedule, ensuring prompt and efficient delivery of required items.
  • Ensure parts are properly labeled upon receipt and inspection.
  • Maintain all receiving paperwork.
  • Verify count and condition on BOL and packing lists.
  • File receiving paperwork for future reference.
  • Note any damage on incoming paperwork and start the claim process.
  • Use protective materials and strapping equipment to protect and secure loads.
  • Report any problems with materials or transportation to supervisor.
  • Manage and pile drums, skids, pallets, and other supplies in specified areas.
  • Perform other related duties as requested.
  • Must be physically capable of lifting 50 lbs.
  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hand and arm length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Full hand dexterity.
  • Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
  • 1 year of previous production experience in Forklift driving and/or material handling.
