Position: 2nd shift Material Handler Shift: Mon- Fri 12p-8p Pay: $19.05 per hour + $1 shift differential In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

Requirements

• A minimum of (1) one year's experience in order fulfillment as an Order Picker and Packer, including cross-trained skills across multiple departments.
• Experience preparing product for safe shipment and verifying accuracy utilizing computer, shipping label, and/or packing list.
• Experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) is highly desired, with examples including JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, up to 90% of the shift.
• Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred.
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered equipment for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting product.
• Check all inbound and outbound products to ensure they are free of damage and infestation.
• Record product code dates and ensure products match customer requirements.
• Physically load product onto equipment, pallets, or totes more than 20% of the specified shift.
• Put-away and pick product for shipment or stock, ensuring the exact number and type of products are checked and loaded correctly.
• Compare quantity, quality, labeling, and address with the customer's order to ensure outgoing product shipments are complete and correct.
• Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary.
• Verify and report discrepancies such as non-available products and OS&D.
• Maintain the facility and the facility's equipment in a neat, clean, orderly fashion and inspect all operated equipment daily.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment.
• Assist in physical inventories.
