Nucor Warehouse Systems is hiring for a careful Forklift Operator to move racks, bundles, and material around our facilities. The forklift operator will operate a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. The job could involve driving around warehouses, storage spaces and other facilities. The forklift operator must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles, specifically, a sit-down forklift. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a sit-down forklift operator
- Valid certification to operate forklifts required; we will also certify through company
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work any shift as required, overtime, weekends and holidays.
