The Material Handler role contributes to this mission by performing key supply chain functions.

Requirements

Minimum of a High School diploma (or equivalent) is required with 0-2 years of experience.
A combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
Must possess good communication, time management and organizational skills.
Must possess competent computer skills including; Microsoft Word, Excel and Lotus Notes.
Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stoop, climb ladders, or stairs, stand or sit for extended periods of time.
Requires long periods of standing; intermittent stooping and bending.

Responsibilities

Verify quantities shipped or received to packing lists and purchase orders.
Deliver and receive incoming packages to specified locations.
Handle return shipments to suppliers.
Load raw material or finished product on skid or hand truck.
Stack skids or pallets in designated areas.
Retrieve Stock orders.
Retrieve Material orders.
Verify quantities of materials shipped to and from Plants.
Perform physical inventories and labeling.
Clean up and dispose of scrap bracing, cardboard and strapping and places in proper containers or in designated areas.
Perform other duties as assigned.
