About The Position

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking food service warehouse Material Handler and Receiver . In this hybrid role, you’ll be responsible for receiving deliveries, organizing inventory, and handling materials to keep our grocery store stocked, orderly, and running efficiently behind the scenes. Unload delivery trucks using manual or powered equipment. Inspect and verify incoming shipments. Sort, label, and stage stock. Safely and efficiently move inventory to the appropriate departments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving and backroom areas. Dispose of packaging and recycle materials as needed. Assist other departments with stock replenishment. Follow all safety protocols and lift like a pro. A Day in the Life of a Warehouse Receiver and Material Handler: Start the day: Trucks arrive with fresh goods, and you jump in to unload them using pallet jacks and hand trucks—handling produce, dairy, dry goods, and more. Check everything: You read labels, count items, and double-check that deliveries match the invoices. Accuracy is your superpower. Keep things moving: You organize and move products to the sales floor or storage areas so everything’s where it needs to be. Stay tidy: You clean up spills, break down boxes, and keep the workspace neat and safe. End your shift: By the time your shift ends, you've moved thousands of pounds of groceries with care and purpose—plus, you probably hit your step goal without even trying! Why You'll Love This Job: Be part of a team that cares—we appreciate your work and want to help you learn and grow. Enjoy a quiet and focused workspace with fewer distractions so you can stay on task. Overnight shifts give you free time during the day for school, family, or whatever matters most. Stay healthy and balanced with support from our Wellness Coordinator and health programs. Build your future here—we offer chances to learn new things and move up over time.
