We are currently seeking a Material Handler for our Boone, IA location. This role assists in the preparation and shipment of agricultural related products, receiving and stocking warehouse inventory and merchandise

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• General knowledge of warehouse operations preferred.
• Previous LTL or small package/parcel shipping experience preferred
• Personal computer skills: Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Six months forklift experience is preferred (minimum is the ability and desire to learn)
• Able to work efficiently and accurately at a fast pace

Responsibilities

• Utilize written pick-lists to prepare and package shipments, including pulling inventory from Warehouse shelving, racking, or outdoor stock lot
• Prepare shipping documents per the details on the pick list, as well as create shipping labels and/or load manifests
• Prepare shipment quotations and estimates
• Receive shipments from vendors and suppliers and document incoming product
• Assists and works closely with the branch Inventory Support Associate to process incoming shipments, including boxing, wrapping, or bagging parts, and/or stocking parts onto shelving and racking
• Assist Inventory Support Associate with inventory audits and cycle counts
• Re-box/re-crate products as needed
• Refurbish damaged or aged products when possible (report product that is not compliant)
• Keep work environment in a safe, clean, organized, and orderly fashion
• Assist with ordering/restocking packaging and departmental materials/supplies
• Assist the Assembly Department if daily duties are completed (when directed by the Branch Manager)
• Perform additional related duties as requested or required
