About The Position

The position involves working as part of the Hypersonic Engineering & Accelerated Technology (HEAT) team at Lockheed Martin Space, focusing on material handling and support within a production facility. Requirements

• Forklift experience required.
• Material Planning system experience required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb a ladder or forklift throughout a complete shift.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Must have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance (US citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, and conveying materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site.
• Performing tasks under specific direction, including shipping and/or receiving materials.
• Opening containers using hand tools and recording information such as counts and weights of materials.
• Loading and unloading materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand.
• Conveying materials using various devices such as wheelbarrows, hand trucks, forklifts, and elevators.
• Stacking or assembling materials and aiding machine operators by lifting heavy objects.
