Job Summary: Coordinates the receipt, labeling, warehousing and distribution of goods and materials with additional emphasis on increased technical skills, intra- and inter-departmental coordination, and data analysis up to and including responsibility for daily results of a work area. Essential Job Functions: Preforms tasks as instructed by coordinator and team lead Accurately receive and verify received materials using JDE & RF Smart Learn to identify parts by part number and line Escalate any packing slip or work order issues to the Planners Properly label received inventory, verifying part numbers & quantities Properly note shortages or damages on freight bills and start claims process Accurately transfer materials to supermarkets using JDE & RF Smart Safely operate forklift Ensure all activities and tasks are completed safely Understand and perform audits and assist cycle count team Perform any function in receiving and warehouse with minimal supervision Notify Metrology team, as necessary, for incoming inspection Initiate discrepancy report to manage any damaged incoming material Entry Level (607D) Material Handler will have 90 days to progress into Level 1 Level 1 (607C) Sit down forklift certified Proficient in JDE and RF Smart for transfers and item availability Dock Safety Trained FIFO Trained Level 2 (607B) Unload trucks Receive materials and label without assistance Knowledge of all designated storage locations Proficient in JDE for OP orders and receipts by supplier Able to create BOL’s for returnables Senior (607A) Understanding of mail receiving process including stock req system Knowledge of receiving process for OS, OJ, SO and OO item types Tow motor trained on sit down, stand up and Drexel type tow motors Other functions and responsibilities: This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions.
