As a Material Handler at Emerson, you will play a crucial role in the operations of our receiving dock. Your primary responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, assisting fellow team members in separating and organizing materials, and ensuring that incoming freight is put away efficiently. You will also be responsible for transporting and storing finished goods that are ready for shipment. Maintaining a clean work environment is essential, and you will perform necessary housekeeping duties to uphold safety and cleanliness standards. It is imperative that you adhere to all safety regulations and protocols set forth by Emerson, as well as federal, state, and local laws. Meeting department quality, attendance, and productivity requirements is a key expectation of this role. Additionally, you will assist in training new hires and provide support to other departments as needed. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the receiving dock.
