About The Position

The Material Handler position in Plainfield is a full-time role with hours from Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 6:30 PM, with a chance of daily mandatory overtime. The role involves facilitating fulfillment requisitions, inventory management, receiving, and projects in a fast-paced, challenging, and physically demanding environment, adhering to the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy rules and regulations. The Material Handler will operate robotic goods-to-person picking and conveyor automation safely and efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely receipt of materials within the distribution center. Responsibilities include unloading, receiving, and staging all inbound materials accurately and efficiently, utilizing the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to document all receiving activity, and safely loading outbound trailers to meet daily dock out times. The position may also involve handling highly confidential documents.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED is required
• 0-3 years of relevant experience
• Experience operating motorized material handling equipment is preferred
• May require Material Handling Certification
• Mandatory overtime on heavy days
• On-call rotation and weekend coverage may be required
• Ability to stand 100% of the time
• Ability to walk up to 90% of the time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds from waist to head
• Ability to carry up to 25 pounds
• Ability to push or pull pallets utilizing manual pallet jacks weighing in excess of 800 pounds
