This is a position with high volume and product diversity.
Requirements
- 1+ years of Forklift experience is required
- High School or equivalent education
- familiarity with a manufacturing environment is desirable
Responsibilities
- Majority of material handling will be steel beams, galvanized C/Z channel, and panel sheeting that can range up to 50 feet in length!
- Loading various materials onto trucks' flatbeds ranging from 12' - 53' in length.
- Full coverage painting of material, using a paint sprayer gun.
- Labeling various beams in accordance to job/ part number.
- Minimal repair work to beams: use wire wheel to eliminate rust spots.
- Spool cabling, cutting cable and transferring to correct departments.
- Driving, maintenance and overall care of forklifts.
- Daily inventory check of jobs loaded out and what was painted/ staged for the following day.
- Consistent and punctual attendance is required.
