About The Position

The Warehouse Materials Team Member - Aftermarket position involves performing general warehouse work including loading and unloading of trucks and movement of material within the warehouse or production facility. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and moving materials to the production area, preparing orders for shipment, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and ensuring timely material flow to production. The role requires safe operation of warehouse equipment and adherence to safety regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to apply math (fractions, ratios, measurements) and to read, comprehend, and convert instruction manuals/diagrams into work.
  • Demonstrated experience safely operating cranes, lift trucks, and other warehouse equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to obtain Lift Truck certification by completing PSI on-site Training Program.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort with technology including MS Office, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to quickly learn Epicor ERP system.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English.
  • Prior experience using Lean manufacturing and/or ISO9001 methodologies, processes, or tools.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Inspect incoming inventory and equipment for quality before storing or rerouting.
  • Identify damaged, lost, or missing merchandise and notify supervisor immediately.
  • Process appropriate inventory control records and cycle counts maintaining accuracy using RF Scanners or ERP system (Epicor).
  • Transport finished products and materials to shipping area and prepare for safe shipment.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, storage areas, and workstations neat.
  • Ensure power vehicles are in proper working order by conducting required pre-trip inspections.
  • Lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds of materials to assist in production.
  • Learn and execute team lifts for items over 40 pounds.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures including the use of personal protective equipment.
