Requirements

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily distribution yard activities of a distribution facility.
• Performs distribution-related functions such as receiving, storing, and shipping/building of loads.
• Checks incoming material against invoices and unloads incoming material.
• Warehouses incoming material, storing or stacking it properly.
• Retrieves material from yard/warehouse following sales orders and builds loads for delivery.
• Loads delivery trucks and operates forklifts and machinery as required.
• Checks loads against orders prior to vehicle exiting the yard.
• Maintains warehouse and yard to meet housekeeping and safety guidelines.
