Material Handler (Knight Boat Docks)

Knight Boat Docks, a division of Knight Const. & Supply, Inc., is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team at the Deer Park location. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our operations, which include the manufacturing of dock ramps, custom docks, and custom fabricated aluminum parts. The Material Handler will be responsible for operating a forklift safely and efficiently, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner while adhering to safety protocols. In this role, you will be expected to perform various essential duties, including operating a forklift for both internal and external customers, conducting safety inspections, and managing the receiving functions of unloading, counting, and inspecting incoming materials. You will also be responsible for stocking the production area with necessary materials and collaborating with other departments to resolve any material-related issues. Maintaining an organized inventory, performing cycle counts, and identifying discrepancies will be key components of your responsibilities.
