Material Handler IV (Packer) - Spencer, MA ( Mon to Thurs 6AM-6PM)

Requirements
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn ERP system
- Must be able to read and write written work instructions, have basic math skills and be able to read a ruler to measure fractions of an inch
- Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all environment and safety regulations, including the Company’s environmental and safety policies and procedures.
- Must be willing to report potential environmental and safety improvements to appropriate supervisory and or management personnel
Nice To Haves
- Prior forklift experience a plus but will train
Responsibilities
- Provide daily tracking of all packaging supplies for the finishing department and related supplies.
- Package sheeting and slitting orders; boxing, palletizing, suspending, banding, etc.
- Check all rolls for Quality
- Ensure rolls are packaged in a quality manner.
- Perform re-packaging of products not conforming to the customer and/or companies quality specifications.
- Operate material handling/lifting equipment: Dalmec, C Hook, Big Joe, and Pallet Jack.
- Operate bar code gun.
- Move within packing area as work demands.

- Based on region, the expected salary range(s) for this in-person position is $17.55 - $29.25.
