As a Material Handler III for our Somersworth location, you will directly contribute to that mission by ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient material flow, and reliable support to production teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys optimizing processes, and takes pride in maintaining a high‑quality, compliant warehouse operation. We are seeking a Material Handler III to play a key leadership role in our warehouse operations at our New Hampshire site. This position oversees advanced material handling tasks, supports a high-performing team, and ensures inventory integrity that directly impacts production success.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (logistics/supply chain education a plus).
  • 5+ years of warehouse/material handling experience, ideally in manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in WMS, inventory systems, RFID/barcode tech, and MS Office.
  • Valid forklift certification.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management & Control: Oversee receiving, storage, distribution, and reconciliation. Implement strategies to maximize accuracy and reduce stockouts or overstocking.
  • Leadership & Team Support: Provide daily guidance and training to Material Handlers. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and reinforce safety and SOP compliance.
  • Material Replenishment & Supply Chain Coordination: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely material replenishment. Work closely with procurement, suppliers, and vendors to ensure seamless flow of materials.
  • Warehouse Optimization: Evaluate and improve warehouse layout and storage processes. Apply lean principles to enhance efficiency and space utilization.
  • Quality & Compliance: Support quality control for incoming materials and ensure adherence to all regulatory, quality, and safety standards.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, transfers, and inventory transactions. Prepare detailed reports on inventory metrics.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements that reduce waste and elevate operational performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with manufacturing, logistics, quality, and procurement teams to meet production timelines.
