JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Ensure flow of raw materials into departments assigned. Pull and deliver raw materials necessary for production in an organized, safe, and consistent manner, providing for the rotation of stock and the preservation and security of all materials. 2. Pull and stage finished good for shipment, label appropriately, load trucks as needed. 3. Operate material moving equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.) as required. 4. Palletize and label finished product as assigned. 5. Prepare raw materials unused by production for storage and return them to the warehouse when applicable. 6. Strive to continuously improve the efficiency of the systems and operational aspects of material handling and production activities. 7. Maintain proper housekeeping procedures in warehouse and loading dock. 8. Perform all duties in compliance with Lighthouse Louisiana’s ISO Quality system procedures. 9. Conduct all business in a positive, relationship-building manner at all times to ensure that the appropriate functions are successfully integrated into Lighthouse production, material management, and accounting processes. 10. Maintain the required output levels as specified by supervisor. 11. Receive all incoming products, materials & items, inspecting for damages, verifying items & quantities against packing slips as well as purchase orders. 12. Secure all received and existing materials in an organized, safe and consistent manner, providing for proper rotation. 13. Maintain files pertaining to all warehouse activities in a neat and orderly manner. 14. Assist the Shipping and Receiving manager with daily duties as needed and provide support for warehouse operations in the absence of the Shipping and Receiving Manager. 15. Prepare shipping paperwork, labels, and route trucks as needed. 16. Work and coordinate within the product flow of the department and coordinate all activities with supervisor. 17. Adhere to the Lighthouse safety policies by utilizing safe workplace practices and reporting all injuries, accidents, near misses, emergencies, and safety hazards immediately upon occurrence. 18. Ensure finished goods are stored securely. Report defective or damaged finished goods to Shipping and Receiving Manager. 19. Perform other duties as assigned.
