About The Position

Join our Industry-leading Manufacturing Team at Reuter-Stokes, where researchers and engineers collaborate to design, produce, and install reliable equipment for harsh environments. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials, components, and finished goods throughout the manufacturing facility. Your work will directly support operations by ensuring the correct materials are delivered throughout the plant.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
  • Attention to detail when handling and producing components
  • Experience with Material Handling or warehouse work including operating equipment and unloading freight, preferred
  • Ability to work in a physical environment, often involving movement of heavy products individually or with a team

Responsibilities

  • Prepping, packaging, and serializing customer orders in preparation for shipment
  • Supplying production lines with necessary materials based on production schedules, utilizing the dispatch report
  • Preparing raw materials on shipping dock being sent out to suppliers, maintaining lot/heat traceability
  • Interacting with peers, supervisor, and internal/external customers
  • Interpreting and following routine instructions
  • Performing weekly cycle counts and support yearly physical inventory
  • Following all safety guidelines and company procedures
  • Navigating through various SAP screens as related to job function
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Collaborating with co-workers and supervision to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency
  • Working with production technician leads to solve part discrepancies
  • Discarding non-conforming material and associated transactions within SAP in the appropriate manner
  • Operating forklift to ensure movement materials within the shipping dock
