About The Position

Mayzon is seeking a Material Handler II to support production and warehouse operations by transporting raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods throughout the facility. This position ensures timely material flow to meet Safety, Quality, and Production objectives. This role is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Overtime is paid in accordance with federal and applicable state laws. This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum two (2) years of related manufacturing or warehouse experience
Forklift experience preferred; certification may be required
Ability to read and interpret production documentation
Basic math skills and written communication ability
Experience using ERP systems or related inventory software preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and material handling
Operation of powered industrial trucks
Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and gloves
Work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment with exposure to moving equipment and varying temperatures

Responsibilities

Move materials manually or using rollers to designated workstations
Load and unload materials using forklifts and other powered industrial equipment
Wrap pallets and prepare production tickets; scan product labels into ERP system
Read and interpret bills of materials (BOMs) and related documentation
Order materials from warehouse inventory and return unused materials to stock
Collect and properly dispose of scrap materials, cardboard, and strapping
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Perform other related duties as assigned within scope of training and capability
