Job Purpose: The Material Handler ll performs various activities within the materials department, including packaging and movement of materials, performing inventory control activities, training to the materials team, shipping & receiving tasks, and providing backup support within the materials team.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of experience in a Material Handler or similar role
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to read and write and communicate in English
Computer literacy
Able to learn NTI warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) and obtain required certifications
Standing for prolonged periods of time - up to 8 hours per day
Frequently lift up to 75 lbs

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with an ERP system
Previous inventory management experience
Experience within medical devices

Responsibilities

Ensures inventory accuracy meets management expectation
Executes picking and put-away of materials
Executes inventory cycle counts and material reconciliations
Ensures packaging of finished goods is completed seamlessly to sustain production runs
Executes shipping and receiving processes
Provides backup to Materials Lead
Provides coverage for Material Handler I
Complies with all procedures and policies concerning quality and medical device regulations
Provides training to materials team as scheduled by the Materials Lead
Comply with Employee Handbook, the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics, and Company policies
Perform other work-related duties and special projects as required
Ensures compliance with a safe work environment according to federal, state, and Northgate policies and OSHA if applicable
