Location/Division Specific Information: Our team in Austin, Texas is at the heart of sample isolation and viral testing reagents and workflows. This facility plays a critical role in supporting global health initiatives by ensuring high-quality materials are received, stored, and distributed efficiently. How Will You Make an Impact?: As a Material Handler II, you will support receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and inventory management operations for finished goods, materials, and supplies. Your work ensures accurate processing, quality control, and timely delivery to meet customer and operational requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of related experience in distribution, warehouse, supply chain, or receiving operations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage complex processes effectively.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and intermediate digital literacy to navigate ERP systems, Outlook, and shipping software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Frequently use hands to handle or feel objects and reach with hands and arms.
  • Regularly required to speak and hear in an environment with background noise.
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects weighing 10–50 pounds.
  • Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally sit, climb, or balance.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP (2–3 years preferred)
  • Experience operating powered industrial trucks (order pickers/forklifts).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and process items for storage and/or shipment according to established procedures and customer requirements, ensuring high quality and on-time delivery.
  • Receive materials and finished goods, verifying quality, type, and quantity, and ensuring appropriate documentation such as packing lists is complete and accurate.
  • Operate PC applications and systems including Microsoft Excel, E-1, and SAP; update and maintain SAP records while coordinating distribution activities with minimal supervision.
