About The Position

Material Handler II will be responsible for all material handling needs, primarily picking and staging raw material in support of Manufacturing Work Centers to ensure efficient production. Works closely with production lines to ensure full utilization of people, materials, and equipment to meet customer demand. The Material Handler II will be required to achieve company standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
This is a hybrid role that is critical in supporting materials flow through a combination of computer-based work, IQMS transactions, and hands-on activities. It is heavily focused on system work within IQMS preparing loads, performing transfers, troubleshooting issues, and supporting both inbound receiving and outbound operations. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to research and resolve problems within the system, and frequent communication through email and cross-functional collaboration and comfortable use of a sit down Forklift. The majority of responsibilities involve operating a forklift, coordinating with production personnel, and ensuring accurate and efficient order processing.

Requirements

• 3+ years of forklift experience
• Strong communication skills and good team player.
• Problem solving skills and interfacing with other departments
• Comfortable driving flat bed truck.

Responsibilities

• Safely operator a forklift and company vehicle to transport raw material to and from warehouse to production work centers.
• Developing a good knowledge of the company and may be assigned to projects for career development.
• Learn and understand the basic functions of the IQMS ERP system.
• Follow the production schedule and stage tools and material ahead of time to prevent any downtime.
• Assist with Warehouse 5S and trash duties
• Load and unload trucks to assist Shipping and Receiving
• Upstock pallets and large gaylords into storage racks ensuring accurate traceability of inventory.
• Put away CNC fixtures and Thermoforming tools into their respected locations.
