MATERIAL HANDLER II - 1st Shift
About The Position
TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills; SAP experience preferred
- 5S skills - able to maintain a neat and orderly work area
- Lifting ability - able to lift 35 lbs regularly
- Detail oriented - quickly and accurately distinguishes part numbers, batch numbers and quantities
- Hours - willing and able to work flexible hours and overtime
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years experience in warehousing or manufacturing environment

- SAP experience
Responsibilities
- Maintain plant Kanban areas including replenishment and cycle counting
- Help facilitate delivery of factory orders to production areas
- Package and receive production orders into SAP
- Cycle count plant storage locations as needed
- Safely operate order picker and other warehouse equipment
- Other duties as assigned
