About The Position

Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward also has facilities in Tennessee, Arizona, and Rhode Island as well as Canada, Spain, France, Australia, and China. This position is based in Clemmons, NC. Position Overview: Operates forklift truck in order to receive, store, stage and distribute material and products within the facility.
Requirements
- Ability to operate a forklift truck in a safe manner.
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED); one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
- Conveys materials and items in a safe and responsible manner from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
- Performs daily preventive maintenance on assigned forklift.
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks or shelves according to pre-determined sequence such as size, type or product code.
- Fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials or other stock items and distributes items.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping area.
- Performs all duties in accordance with company safety standards.
