About The Position

The Material Handler II is responsible for the handling and movement of material within the plant. Additionally, this role provides support to other material handlers, maintains documentation related to material handling, and maintains communication with Supply Chain to ensure all issues are resolved. Deliver materials safely and efficiently to various locations using a daily checklist Unload trucks and check freight bills (shipping & receiving) Return materials back to stock and maintain all related documentation Locate material as needed by other material handlers, customers, or supervisors Record transactions using established procedures and use the Kanban system to check availability of parts Notify material department of any material-related issues Work alongside other teams across the organization Provide back-up support to other material handlers Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand throughout working shift and work overtime as needed. Must have a High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution. Minimum of 6-month previous standup reach forklift operating experience No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the work location will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Requirements
