As a Material Handler II, you will play a key role in the efficient operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and distributing goods, as well as ensuring that all warehouse activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in warehouse operations or material handling preferred.
  • Previous warehouse experience with expertise in inventory management and equipment operation. A minimum of 1 year of forklift experience.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items safely; stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Ensure accuracy in all inventory and shipping activities.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or process inefficiencies.
  • SAP experience is strongly preferred. Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic data entry.
  • Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse machinery.
  • Meet deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow written/verbal instructions.
  • Comfortable working in various conditions, including outdoor temperatures.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verify accuracy against purchase orders, and properly store items in designated locations.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and receipts. Complete necessary paperwork and electronic logs.
  • Inspect products for damage or defects and report any issues to the supervisor. Ensure all items are handled with care.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. Keep the warehouse clean and organized, including regular disposal of waste and maintenance of storage areas.
  • Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff and departments to achieve operational goals and address any issues that arise.
