About The Position

The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for performing a variety of physical and administrative tasks to support shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing products, materials, parts, and equipment. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and safe operation of warehouse equipment in support of production and customer needs. Shift & Schedule: 10:00am - 6:30pm M-F Can be flexible (9-5:30, 11-7:30) First two months while training, will be 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of related warehouse or material handling experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred, or other ERP systems.
  • Manual and electric pallet jack experience required.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experience required.
  • Ability to work accurately and consistently in routine situations.
  • Basic math skills, including weight, volume, and distance measurements.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload products from delivery vehicles and move items to designated storage areas.
  • Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine materials required.
  • Transport materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or designated work areas.
  • Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to size, type, style, or product code.
  • Pull and fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or stock items, and distribute them to production workers or assembly lines.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock, place orders on pallets or shelves, and move them to packing or shipping stations.
  • Mark and label materials with identifying information.
  • Record and maintain accurate counts of materials received, stored, or distributed.
  • Weigh or count items to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Enter and maintain accurate inventory records in computer systems (SAP or similar).
  • Prepare shipments, including packaging, labeling, and posting weights and shipping charges.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas.
  • Safely operate production and warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand tools.
