About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for warehouse material handling, shipping, service repairs inbound/outbound processing and stock room activities. This position will interface with customer service freight forwarders, supply chain, Product Management and Sales to ensure orders are picked and shipped accurately and on time to the customer. They will also be responsible to maintaining an accurate account of service parts, demo assets, and finished goods inventory. This role will require flexibility with an ever-changing business environment as we continue to improve current business practices across all sites and define harmonized business processes to deliver optimal results for our business.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 1+ year experience in a warehouse environment required.

Nice To Haves

  • Two-year college or technical degree preferred or the equivalent in years of related experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing role.
  • Experience and knowledge of ERP systems and fundamentals of Inventory Shipping and Receiving Cycle Counting and International Customs processes preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for timely and accurate shipments of finished goods inventory, service parts, service repairs, and demonstration equipment to domestic and international customers.
  • Locate and pick material accurately as specified on pick list or Demo asset orders as outlined in SOP and work instructions.
  • Check-in, maintain, and stock demo asset equipment and ensure demo asset customer needs are met.
  • Receive finished material into stock and review outstanding backlog to ship product.
  • Perform Cycle Counts of inventory and maintain a high accuracy of stock.
  • Work directly with the service repair team to ensure service parts are provided and repairs are received and shipped accurately and on time.
  • Proactively communicate low inventory levels and materials discrepancies and other issues that may negatively impact material quality or the ability to meet operations objectives.
  • Work with other Internal Departments by phone and written communications such as Customer Care Sales and Product Management.
  • Build and maintain internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed KPI's for Inventory, picking accuracy and service repair turnaround as defined by the business.
  • Provide continuous improvement ideas and participate in improvement projects.
  • Comply with company and regulatory EHS policies and procedures.
