About The Position

This position is a Direct Hire opportunity! As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the warehouse setting, picking and packing orders. We're searching for individuals who not only meet the customers technical requirements but also fit well within the team. Training will be on first shift for up to a month and when ready, you will then transition to second or third shift.

Requirements

• Strong math and fraction skills
• Ability to read measuring tools
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and great communication abilities
• Computer and keyboard skill development

Responsibilities

• Pulling large orders of steel rods according to client specifications, considering factors like finish, length, and thickness
• Operate equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts, metal saws, shears, and lasers
• Filling and preparing material orders for shipment to the customer
