About The Position

Job Summary: The Material Handler will assist with picking, packing, pulling and staging materials for our customers. Assist with safely loading trucks via forklifts/pallet jacks. Supports the outbound Logistics department by being well organized, safe, and keeping the warehouse clean. Works well with basic computer programs for basic transactions in our ERP system and usage of RF scanners. Key Job Responsibilities: Participate in warehouse setting for staging/loading material by packaging items, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks when needed Identify, label and stage materials properly through company ERP system for outgoing orders Maintain company warehouse material through organizing, cycle counting and cleaning designated shipping areas on a regular basis Keeping a well-maintained and updated account of finished stock in designated shipping area Follow all company rules and policies Ability to load outgoing materials and products onto semi-tractor trailers Coordinate with members of the team to maximize productivity and efficiency within our Logistics department Other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in proven warehouse practices and methods
  • 1+ years of Forklift/pallet jack skills
  • Ability to apply basic math concepts
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple organizations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced company environment
  • Soft skills include, being a team player, detailed communication skills, time management, problem solving and critical thinking

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ERP/SAP system
  • 1+ years of experience with RF scanners
  • 1+ year with Microsoft Office applications and warehouse computer software
